We are always searching for good stones for pebble mosaic. "Good" means well-shaped (flat, elliptical, rounded or flat-topped), of good colour, and hard durable stone types.The best way, of course, is to collect your own! But mosaicists will know the difficulties of hand collecting legally in the UK, not to mention the backache.Cobblestone Designs has been importing stones from the Far East, China and India for several years, primarily for our own use; but we also like to provide a service for other keen pebble workers and discerning garden designers.

COVERAGE
A 4x25 KG bag is sufficient to make 1 square metre of mosaic
This allows some "spares" for choice.

SIZES
We recommend 50-70mm (or larger) for in-situ work
The smaller sizes are mainly for use in the pre-cast method of mosaic construction.
