For 25 years we’ve been working to develop the ancient art of hand-made pebble mosaic paving, combining it with modern techniques and imaginative contemporary design.




INSPIRED DESIGNS
Maggy is well known for her original designs which encompass intricate geometry, abstract patterns and natural imagery, all meticulously woven into decorative floor-scapes. All our designs are by Maggy, and the mosaics are produced by the skilled craftspeople at the Cobblestone Designs workshop.

ART TO BE WALKED ON
As well as a thing of beauty, pebble mosaic is hand-made durable paving suitable for enhancing hard landscaping in town centres and private gardens.

A MODERN CASTING TECHNIQUE
We make manageable pre-cast slabs that fit together like a giant jigsaw puzzle, using an upside-down fabrication technique which ensures a perfectly flat, textured surface.

NATURAL PEBBLES
The gentle colours of smooth water-worn stones give pebble mosaic its appeal. The casting technique makes it possible to use tiny pebbles and achieve great strength and durability. In addition we also incorporate carved stone details and modelled ceramic bas-reliefs to provide a wider range of interest and expression
