A mosaic for the restored Hindle Aviary (no real birds now!) in Bold Venture Public Park at Darwen, Lancashire. Using carved slate details, tumbled blue & green stones, & ceramic birds. Recent experimentation has produced a new element in the "palette" for pebble mosaic; Maggy is producing high-fired, glazed ceramic pieces of bas-relief images to cast into the mosaic. This development has raised exciting possibilities; now we can achieve even more detail & new colours.
